Tool Box Refurb

I dug this old tool box out of the scrap. Someone sand blasted it and gave part of it a coat of red paint. It was originally hunter green. At least, that’s the color of the inside of the box and drawers. It has ball bearing slides which were heavily contaminated with whatever abrasive they blasted it with. Some time in the parts washer took care of that. I wasn’t sure how I felt about a green box, but since that was the original color, I decided to stick with it. I did paint the drawer fronts and sides hammered black. They didn’t turn out so well since it was borderline too cold when I sprayed them. In the end, I think it came out pretty decent. It’s a long way from perfect, but it’s a lot better than it was.
