The old Craftsman Suburban garden tractor needed carb. work when I got it. After going through it several times with no success, I discovered that it needed a new jet. The original one was not feeding fuel into the idle circuit. The only way to get it to idle was to close the choke. Having no luck locating a replacement, I decided to try making one. With the new jet, the engine runs and idles like it is supposed to.
