I’ve been looking for a Chandler Duplex boring and facing head for a while. I finally found one at a price I was comfortable with. The only thing wrong with it was the spring plunger that engages the auto feed was missing. I can’t find one like I need so I replaced it with a 10-32 screw with a modified end. I made it out of aluminum silicon bronze so it looks right at home and is plenty strong enough for what it does.
