I got this mower in a trade. At first, my plan was to just get it running and sell it. After hearing it run, I realized this was not going to happen. It had a very loud knock when the throttle was opened. After tearing it down, I discovered the lower main bearing and crank end play were beyond tolerance. I decided to bore out the bearing and press in a new one. Follow along.
