I’ve wanted to add threadmilling capability to the lathe for some time. I finally have gotten around to it. I need to come up with a more rigid holder for the Dremel, maybe even one for the die grinder. The threads aren’t pretty, but they do work. The camera magnifies their faceted appearance. I especially like that the thread can terminate at a very precise point. The ones pictured were made with the lathe not running, just rotating the chuck by hand slowly.
